Privacy by design · product direction

Pet technology privacy.
Clear controls, clear limits.

Petting's current design direction favors intentional, occasional capture and understandable owner controls. Petting One remains a development preview, so this page describes the privacy standard the product must meet rather than promising a finished capability.

What does intentional capture mean?

The current concept is not a continuous livestream. It describes occasional, low-frame moments shaped by settings the owner controls. A future production release would need to explain when capture occurs, what is retained and how deletion works before orders open.

What should owners be able to control?

Useful controls should make capture, keeping, deletion and account access understandable. A privacy claim is only meaningful when the visible interface, support information and policy describe the same choices.

What remains separate from this feature page?

The Privacy Policy explains website and account data practices. Product Status records what is currently orderable. Neither page turns a development direction into a confirmed specification or launch promise.
