01 · Agreement

Using Petting

By using the site or an account, joining the waitlist, or submitting an order, you agree to these terms and the related Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the affected feature. You must be able to enter the relevant transaction under the laws that apply to you.

02 · Accounts

Keep account details accurate and secure

You may register with an email and password or use Google Sign-In when that option is available. Provide accurate account and order information, protect your sign-in method, and notify Petting if you believe an account is being used without permission. Do not send a password by email.

Petting may limit or suspend account access when reasonably needed to protect the service, investigate abuse, or address a violation of these terms. Account availability is not guaranteed without interruption.

03 · Products

Availability and descriptions can change

Only a product shown as available in the shop and accepted by checkout can be ordered. Images, colors, measurements, descriptions, prices, and availability may be corrected or updated. A planned feature, concept, waitlist, or development preview is not a promise that the product or feature will launch.

04 · Orders and payment

Checkout shows the transaction details

Available purchases use Stripe-hosted checkout. Before payment, review the product, variant, quantity, price, currency, shipping charge, tax, delivery destination, and total shown there. An order is not treated as paid merely because a checkout session was opened; payment status is confirmed through the checkout system.

Petting may decline or cancel an order that cannot be processed, references unavailable or invalid items, contains an obvious pricing or configuration error, or presents a security or fraud concern. If payment has been collected for a cancelled order, the associated payment record will be handled through the payment provider.

05 · Shipping and returns

Read the current fulfillment information

Shipping destinations and charges are determined by the options available in checkout. Petting does not publish a universal dispatch time, delivery promise, or return window in these terms. Before ordering, read the Shipping & Returns page and contact the team if timing or return eligibility is important to the purchase.

Do not send an item back without first requesting instructions. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law continue to apply.

06 · Pet safety and educational content

Technology supports attention; it does not replace care

Petting guides, product descriptions, location signals, routine summaries, and behavior discussions are general information, not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or a guarantee that a pet will be located or remain safe. Use properly fitted equipment, supervise according to the animal and situation, keep visible identification and microchip details current, and contact an appropriate veterinarian or emergency service when needed.

07 · Pet-perspective stories

Creative media is not documentary evidence

Petting’s pet-perspective videos are creative interpretations, not real-world footage, product-test evidence, or proof of what an animal saw, intended, or felt. Do not use them as a basis for a health or safety decision.

08 · Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site or service

Do not attempt to bypass security, access another person’s account or order, interfere with the site, submit unlawful or deceptive material, scrape personal information, misuse checkout, or use Petting content in a way that violates another person’s rights. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; those services apply their own terms.

09 · Content and service availability

Errors and interruptions may occur

Petting works to keep visible product, account, order, and educational information accurate, but the site and services may contain errors or be temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided as available and without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here removes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

10 · Changes and contact

Check the effective date

Petting may update these terms when products, checkout, accounts, policies, or site features change. The effective date at the top identifies the current published version. Questions may be sent to hello@petting.club.
